trixie at the movies
by gl. at 11:43 pm
a recent trixie poem:

tell the world to let us lick skin
sizzle with love's embrace
drink that fire through night
symphony
i took this in the parking lot of a movie theatre, and it was a good thing i did because some of the words had been used for other poetry when we came back out.

Does Trixie lose many magnets either to people who decide they want to have a big "lick" (e.g.) magnet, or to bumps in the road? Do you [have to/want to] replentish or add to her working vocabulary?

shelley: harry potter!
michael5000: yes, i lose magnets through, um, "attrition," but less than you'd think. i almost expect it; i mean, i'd have a hard time not wanting to take home a big word magnet! there have only been two notable exceptions where someone has taken a LOT of magnets at once, only one of which was in portland. and i can count on one hand the ones that have fallen off due to road conditions, primarily the dreaded "semi wind" as they rush by, the force of which can pluck a magnet off if one of its edges overlaps another magnet or is hanging off the edge of a car structure. fortunately, we have a box of magnets in the trunk to replenish her as needed. :)
