We're looking for kind, courageous, generous people who want to make more
art! We support people & places that encourage creativity, but we have hosted several types
of events at Scarlet Star Studios: unique Artist's
Way Creative Clusters, a guided art night each month, a free collage night each month,
a wide range of inspiring workshops
led by gentle & talented instructors, and independent support options for artists. Sometimes
we have also hosted art supply swaps, labyrinth walks, art salons & other unexpectedly
delightful opportunities for art exploration.

summer:
11: 6-8 p.m. OPS Fest presents Midsummer
Night's Dream at Somerset West Park (Beaverton)
12: 2-4 p.m. OPS Fest presents Midsummer
Night's Dream at Pacific Park (Vancouver, WA)
18: 2-4 p.m. OPS Fest presents Midsummer
Night's Dream at Gabriel Park
19: 2-4 p.m. OPS Fest presents Midsummer
Night's Dream at Esther Short Park (Vancouver, WA)
29: "Creative Business Identity" at SCRAP from 6-8 p.m., $10 donation
recommended: Customers don't buy an object from you: they buy the story you present about how
it was made, who made it and how they'll feel when they use it. So the time you spend working on your
identity will affect every aspect of your creative business. Explore what you really love
about your business and what makes you different from similar creative businesses. Then learn
how to create a "basic message" about your business that is clear and engaging to your
customers and peers.
